Rod Cook, a giant of a man in Network Marketing and Direct Selling, passed from this world in January 2021. He fought the good fight. He was mission-driven to protect our profession and stand up for “the little guy.” We all honor his legacy by serving the people of our profession and we will always hold Rod and Marcie close in our hearts.Rod started retailing products in MLM in 1968. By late 1969 he made over $250,000 as a college student as a direct selling distributor. Later years produced more success. In 1972 Rod started calculating new MLM pay plans for other leaders as a trade-out instead of buying into their new companies. Rod started paid MLM Consulting in 1984.
Rod has a broad range of successful business experience as a conventional entrepreneur and consulting. He has owned top rated franchises and sold them at a profit. He has owned import/export businesses that were the tops in their category. He owned a successful machine shop and gun business. He has been an owner and a major stockholder in several MLM companies.
